Mehgan McMullen is a dark fantasy romance author debuting her first novel Soul Bound. Born and raised in rural Vermont, Mehgan moved to New York working as a science nerd at a small pharmaceutical company during the day and spotlighting as a liaison to the supernatural creations in her head at night. Since 14, she’s lost herself in alternate worlds, embossed with magic, overrun by demons and tyrannical vampires, and weaved together with threads of tension-filled romance and spice as hot as Hellfire. Equipped with experience battling anxiety and depression, Mehgan amplifies her dark tone through trauma fueled, morally gray characters, themes of good vs. evil, and gothic atmosphere laced in ancient prophecy.
She’s pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing with a Professional Writing certificate from Southern New Hampshire University. When she’s not writing, Mehgan’s nose is perpetually stuck in a book, hiking, playing countless sports, or spontaneously traveling around the world for inspiration to her next creation.
Her mission is to create dark, fantastical worlds filled with sizzling romance, troubled characters, and themes that resonate with readers giving them hope that the darkness doesn’t always win and happy endings are possible.
